It took Ben Simmons all of 40 seconds to log a point, rebound and assist in a October 30, 2023 matchup against the Charlotte Hornets and not surprisingly his Brooklyn Nets rolled seamlessly to a dominant first quarter. After scoring himself on his team’s first possession of the ball game, Simmons collects a rebound off the rim following an opponent’s miss and immediately laces a crosscourt touchdown pass to a streaking Spencer Dinwiddie for a fastbreak layup. Simmons finished the contest with 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting, 10 rebounds and eight assists.
