Kyle Kuzma saved his best for last. After a game-tying 3-pointer by Zach LaVine with 30 seconds left in regulation, it appeared the Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls could be headed for overtime. But Kuzma had other plans as he used a screen from Taj Gibson to get by his initial defender before he drove to his right and buried a leaning triple in front of Washington’s bench with 5.7 seconds remaining. Kuzma’s game-winner was part of a solid effort of 21 points, four rebounds and three assists as the Wizards edged the Bulls 100-97 on January 11, 2023.
